The application process for international students have a few extra steps, but don’t worry, our staff is always
on-hand to help.
Note:
New applications must be submitted at least two months before the program commencement date.
Applicants are NOT required to be present in Singapore while their applications are being considered. Hence,
no extension of stay will be considered while the applications are under processing. Successful applicants
may enter Singapore to complete the formalities after their applications have been approved.
Eligibility:
Any foreigner is required to apply for a Student's Pass if he/she wishes to pursue full-time studies in Singapore
in an institution that: (1) is registered with the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE); or (2) has obtained
approval from the Commissioner Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) to accept foreign students.
FZD School of Design Pte Ltd is registered with the MOE.
Exemption from Applying for a Student's Pass:
If you are a Dependant's Pass holders studying in Government, Government-aided, Independent,
Kindergartens, and Foreign System Schools; or if you are an Immigration Exemption Order holder.

Summary of Admissions Procedure for International Students (In Order):
1. Complete the online registration form for the full-time diploma program.
2. Send in your portfolio and prepare for an interview.
3. Once the above two steps are completed, our administrative staff will contact you via your listed email
address or phone number.
4. If you are accepted in the program, a Letter of Acceptance will be mailed to your listed address along
with further instructions and additional forms.
5. Once we receive your returned forms and deposit, we will proceed to apply for your Student Pass
following the application for your Student Protection Scheme.
6. You will be notified by the School upon approval of your Student Pass from the Immigration & Checkpoints
Authority. (This process usually takes about 1-2 months)
7. You will be ready to enter Singapore. You are advised to enter Singapore 2 weeks or any date specify by
the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority before the commencement of the program to sort out your
accommodation as well as medical check up and complete the final stages of the student pass application
procedure.
